I took a woodworking class to make a coffee table. They provide you with the hardwood and a basic table template that you get to customize to your liking (within reason). I was able to make a gorgeous coffee table. The woodshop has all the machines/tools you need to make a great piece of work and the instructors were super knowledgeable and supportive. Highly recommend taking classes here, I can't wait to start working on my next wood project.
