RecommendedBring your boat/motor here and you won't regret it. Dale is a pro and he cares. He re-powered my Whaler and took the time to make sure I knew my options (power steering, controls, gages, etc). He takes the time to do it right - for example moved a fuel water separator to a transom void to protect it. The result is an extremely clean and beautiful install. Ballard Marine is the best!
Had a problem with my mercury 9.9 4 stroke outboard engine. So took it to them, a few days later they said it needed a new carburetor, and they said that there’s is no rebuild kit. The price would be 1200$ for a new one! I told them no, they said they would buy it from me for the labor incurred apox 200$ it’s a electric start at that.I told them hell no, and bought a new Honda. I told a friend about my story, he instructed me to bring my mercury to Edmonds auto, I took the carburetor off and brought it to Edmonds auto. 140$ ... read more

William, Please see attached work order and estimate copies. I believe that you didnt fully understand the issues with your engine. I happen to have over forty years experience with small engines and I know that when you have corrosion inside a carburetor it can be cleaned but the problem will be back very quickly due to the lack of the original coating and it needs to be replaced.
