Adding to the complaints about billing. Sent bills to an old address I haven’t lived at for years—my ID is updated and I would have given current info. Not sure how or why they had old info. Didn’t call or follow up with me and sent my debt to collections. Incredible.
Last year I was hospitalized because apparently something went wrong inside my body due to stress. They did every possible check on my body, but they couldn't figure out what was wrong with me and just handed me the $27,000 bill. Haha, this place is a disaster.
Regretfully, I am experiencing the same billing issues as many other folks. Frustrating!
Shocked, but also sadly not shocked, to come here and see that all of these one-star reviews are for the exact same reason as mine. Ballard Emergency Physicians did not bill my insurance correctly. When I called them to report this (with my health insurance company on the line!) they told me to disregard the bill and they'd process it again within 3 months. There are no words to articulate how poorly these doctors and their billing practices are conducted. If you can survive a few more minutes, find an alternate care center. Update 3/17/25 I left the above initial review out of frustration and anger and am updating it to reflect a more realistic response. After working on a billing issue for 8 months (an error on their end), I can honestly say this is the most inept organization.
