First and foremost, one star is giving them way more credit than they deserve. Secondly, any physician affiliated with BEP should be ashamed. Their billing practices are horrendous and frankly I believe they are borderline shady. I have excellent insurance that was given to Swedish emergency when I admitted. Swedish got everything they needed but BEP screwed up the process not once but twice and then sent me to collections without contacting me again. Amazingly poor billing system. Had a $140 bill. No mail received that I’m aware of, though they claim it was sent. No text found delivered to my phone, even though they claim a follow up was sent by text. First time I heard of this bill was when a collection agency contacted me. Don’t like publicly posting with negative comments, but I feel compelled to agree publicly with what everyone is saying given the consistent comments. Adding to the complaints about billing. Sent bills to an old address I haven’t lived at for years—my ID is updated and I would have given current info. Not sure how or why they had old info. Didn’t call or follow up with me and sent my debt to collections. Incredible.
Last year I was hospitalized because apparently something went wrong inside my body due to stress. They did every possible check on my body, but they couldn't figure out what was wrong with me and just handed me the $27,000 bill. Haha, this place is a disaster.
Regretfully, I am experiencing the same billing issues as many other folks. Frustrating!
