Today my partner and I went to the 4th floor room 1b to visit our dear friend Lawrence the staff were absolutely wonderful they saw we were up set offered us a chairs and a box of tissues and another gorgeous nurse offered tea/coffee highly recommend ballarat base thank you to all the staff on the 4th floor
Not very happy with there meals. They seam to do the same thing over and over. When it comes to broth I had beer broth for 7 days in a row. And now that I'm eating pureray they still want me to eat vegetable broth. Boy can they change things and ask the patient what they may like.???
Questionable people employed in psych. services. I say this because I have met several of them in a personal capacity; have heard how they talk about clients in a disrespectful manner when they're outside of the workplace, how little regard they have for their roles and other people in general, how they think their antisocial behaviour is entertaining and humorous. Reading the other comments here it seems as though that may be the culture throughout the whole hospital. The shamelessness is offensive to say the least.
Transferred from smaller local hospital as I had influenza B and pneumonia travelled over an hour to be ramped for 5hours bounced between a few different ambulance crews got into early hours of the morning they seemed to stop treating and just lining people up and down hallways got an ed bay sometime later on spent 2 days on a very uncomfortable bed to be told your stat's are good no beds available on respiratory ward we need that bay can you organise someone to pick you up was told that at 11 (my husband being the only one ... read more
