Hate to do this again, but the RV we got was a show model. The first full year we had it I started seeing reddish-brown spots on the drive....??? Started looking, pulled the battery and saw it had acid in the case, the battery had been filled to the top and the case had two holes drilled in the bottom. Apparently this was to keep people from stealing it at shows, as I was told. It had eaten half of one of the crossbars and widened the drilled hole in the other. We have had nothing but positive experiences at Ballantyne RV. We purchased a new RV from them in 2010 and the sales experience was very good. We have brought our RV for service numerous times and cannot say enough good things about their service department. They have accommodated our requests, even on short notice. I would recommend them to anyone looking for an RV.
I purchased a new Salem 27RKSS at their Dome Show 2yrs ago had numerous Issues with it and it was never properly prepped for delivery. Fortunately the issues were under warranty. At that time the Victor store had a very good service department, Nick and Jason in particular, however now they have a very rude and unhelpful woman in that department. Worked hard to satisfy our requests. Found the perfect TT for us. Gave us top dollar for our 14 year old trailer. Minor issues with service dept setting up our trailer. They need better supervision.
Jason in service is the best. I bought my first used RV from a private owner. I took it to Jason in the Victor store. He made sure I was safe and ready to roll. LOVE Ballantyne! I am Editing my post now. Last year they had a whole service department that was outstanding. NOW, they have angry females on the counter, they don't return your calls. They charged me $70 to summerize the camper and charged $10 to check my tire pressure (Really?) They also charged me $54 to check my appliances which would have been OK except I asked... read more
