A real treasure. We love to stay at the Horse & Goat in Ballan, it is beautiful and peaceful. A perfect place to stay anytime of the year. We have stayed many times and will always come back when in the area.

A basic yet very neat little place, sleeping up to four. Has a bunk in a separate room and a queen sized bed sitting between the kitchenette area and two seater table. Small deck area with an outdoor table as well. l'd say it's perfect for a couple to use as a base to explore the area, but a bit cramped to spend long periods of time. Honestly not sure how it would work for four, as there's insufficient seating at the tiny table and no couch (but the kids might be happy to lounge on the bed watching TV, l suppose). Accommodation was lovely light & clean. John was very informative & a great host. We really loved having a drink on the lower deck watching the sun going down & watching the birds of prey flying around & the wrens hopping around our feet. We will b staying here again & highly recommend this b&b. Carol & Brian
