I have an autistic child. When I got there he became overwhelmed and lay on the floor. The attending PA asked him to get on the bed and when he told her no she said they had done all that they could do, that it had to be viral and proceeded to tell me if I needed further help to take him to his regular doctor or the ER. The regular doctor had been called and wasn’t able to see him. The amount of attitude and extreme rudeness I experienced was ridiculous. I understand people have bad days but if you can’t treat patients with respect you’re in the wrong field of work.
The doctors, nurses, receptionists have all been fantastic every time I have been here. I have been to multiple urgent cares, but nothing even comes to close the care you will get at Marion. They are also very quick!
I waited over an hour to be seen, only for the appointment to last less than 10 minutes. The nurse practitioner was dismissive and barely addressed my concerns. She gave a cursory glance at my ears, throat, and other issues, and when I mentioned my month-long ear infection that hasn’t responded to antibiotics, her response was that there was nothing they could do.
