I recently purchased a VW Tiguan at VW of Mystic. It was a great experience from start to finish.. Peter was there to great me, even though it was before his starting time.  He then was extremely helpful getting me the car in the exact color that I wanted.  It was delivered to the lot and driven home that same day. Peter was also there to help complete the transaction and made me feel like a valued customer.

This is the worst dealership location that I have ever dealt with. I would not even give them 1 star because they don't even deserve that, but the site requires you to put at least 1 star. Being a military veteran and a car fanatic I have purchased 100s of cars over the last 45+ years so I have dealt with many different dealerships in many different states and this dealership is by far the worst unprofessional, dishonest, and disloyal dealership that I have ever dealt with. Shocking experience with this dealer relating to a recall. Did the recall on my 2017 Golf GTi for the fuel suction pump. About a month later I start noticing a faint gasoline smell when parking but thought nothing of it. Start to notice the smell a bit more until middle of the next month when my car starts to leak gasoline down by the fuel tank and on to the road. I'm with the 618 1 star reviews. I saw an SUV on line and thought that's not a bad asking price. Then I checked out their trade in value procedure and got an offer. I thought, well, it seems we are pretty much in agreement with the trade in value given for the car. I'm thinking that we should be able to make a quick cash deal. But no, the salesman, Dylan, calls me and said they don't want to honor my trade in value offer, and would only give me 70% of the estimated value from their on line offer. We have 2 VW's and have had variable satisfactory service. Used to be better. Prices have certainly escalated over time. Surcharge for debit cards is outrageous. Plan on service taking all day if you're not in the waiting room. An appointment later than early in the AM, even for minor things, may take hours. Don't always expect to be updated on what's going on.

Unknown stars rating until I visit the Midland dealership at 9:01 am this morning. Bought a car from them Monday and the "check engine light came on" yesterday. O2 sensors and brake pump, etc. We'll see if they honor their sale or if they try to fudge. Will report back in about 2 or 3 hours.
