Wonderful experience! My husband had cataract surgery though the doctors here, and they explained everything and great results.
I was a new patient yesterday. I requested to NOT to be dilated. But the tech did it anyways. I drove my self there and had to have my Partner come collect me since I would not see clear enough to drive. It didn't wear off for 6 hrs. I am still very upset and I am not paying for the services.
You often have to wait a little, but that’s okay because they are so thorough. The doctors are not hurrying to get rid of you and genuinely care. We drive 30 miles and would drive further just because we think they are the best.
I have been going to MEI for a year. I have had to go to the Rochester location as my local MEI has a new Doctor and does not take my insurance. Let me start by saying the Doctor I saw at the Rochester location was great. The staff however is horrendous. The staff person who saw me first and had to test my eyes ( I have severe nearsightedness and have vision impairment) she was singing loudly while putting drops in my eyes and she did not know the equipment.
