Great whiskey!!
Went to Balcones Distillery for my business partner’s birthday and had a blast. The tour guide kept things interesting (even if the math questions almost took us out ). The tasting was awesome and we learned a ton about their rum, rye, and whiskey. 100% recommend!
My fiance and I booked the tour and got to the tasting room a little early, so we had a cocktail. The drinks were great and the bartenders were friendly. Our reservation did not start on time, but it was worth the wait. Cara did an amazing job, we asked lots of questions and she was able to answer all of them! We left with a bottle of their rye whisky and tons of laughs. Thanks for helping us have a great birthday weekend!
Easily one of the best distilleries in Texas. We had a great tour, which took right around 45 minutes with the last 15 minutes reserved for tasting 5 of their whiskeys. You get to keep your glencairn too. We then meandered to the bar where you can get a whiskey flight, craft cocktail, or craft beer produced in house. Their fall cocktail reminded me of a creme brulee and was delicious. Wether partaking in a tour or just grabbing a drink, this is a must visit in Waco.
