Ye, very honest indeed.... I had a Neon where the transmission wasn't shifting exactly right after my father ran it for month on low fluid. When I went to Tom (just after hours on the weekend) he came out looked at it and suggested we just drive it for several weeks so it could adapt to runnning with full fluid. This worked! So this won us over. Balch's Transmissions-Purcellville, VA Tom Balch is an honest man. When my wife's minivan was towed into his shop in 1996, Tom saw it was covered under a "Silent Recall" by Chrysler and offered me his phone and gave me the hotline number to call. The Transmission was replaced at the local Chrysler dealer, but he one me over as a customer for life. He rebuilt the tranny on my son's 1997 Ford Explorer and I am quick to recommend him to any and all. His work is excellent and at a fair price.
