Not a defender of the public. When an attorney is assigned to your case as a public defender, the attorney is paid by municipal funds to represent and advise you legally. This man effectively works as the other side of the coin. Whether or not the evidence is sufficient to convict you he will advise you to take a plea that is not in your favor. One Star Only Because I Couldn't Give Zero This man is certainly not working for you as a defendant. Know that if you ever need his services in Madison Alabama Court. He is completely tied up with the judge and prosecutor and will comply with whatever they offer whether or not it is in your favor. If offered him as a public defender please attempt to be assigned to another person. It IS possible.
