Balboa Island Baking Company is the embodiment of what a cute, local, and utterly delicious bakery should be. Walked in for the first time today, and was immediately greeted with a smile and kind service. After asking for recommendations (and realizing we missed the cinnamon rolls and sticky pecan rolls, sadly), I got the pecan roll pieces bag, a strawberry scone, and a coconut almond scone. I am a usual there every weekend with my son and I have no complaints overall in all the young ladies there they have an amazing lovely attitude and energy an amazing service
Really amazing baked goods. The cinnamon rolls are the best! But also other great options such as scones, both sweet and savory, croissants, muffins, etc. The staff was also really friendly. Great experience and always a must stop when in the Newport/Balboa area.
Came up from South OC for the Cinnamon Rolls and wasn’t disappointed! Charming location on Balboa Island with super friendly staff. All of the pastries looked good but the cinnamon rolls are amazing!
