I was going to book a room here for two nights but whoever works the front desk taking calls was so rude, kept cutting me off, and was weirdly off putting. Save your money and book elsewhere, plenty other nicer hotels around the area.
The place is clean and in a great area near the beach and shops. The windows above the bed face 2 different Air Conditioning units that go on and off ALL day and night. I got very little sleep, the noise is atrocious! One of the windows is missing the screen. The Air Conditioner in the room hardly cools the room down. There isn’t a Microwave in the room. You have to ask the front desk for Ice. The garage parking is very expensive and you have to use their Valet every time you need your car or to put your car back. Breakfast ... read more
We had a great stay at the Balboa Inn on the Balboa Peninsula in Newport Beach. Before booking, I saw a few reviews saying “never book here,” and honestly, I don’t understand that based on our experience. Maybe those reviews were from before some of the renovations, because our room was excellent and appeared to be recently refurbished. Omg the room was horrible 😫 very sad my view was not nice at all dirty walls bricks really? No view of water the beach very bad smell in the room. Very old furniture very bad nothing fancy for the prize we paid $480 im so mad 😠 😡 waste of time and money. The breakfast omg boxes of cereal warm milk not much to eat. Never again 😒 I want my money back never again. I should of went to Mexico 🇲🇽 please do not waste ur time and money. So sad 😞
