I do not have good things to say about this “doctor.” She is NOT a doctor, she’s a nurse practitioner. She is the must unprofessional healthcare worker I have ever met. She “diagnosed” me with ADHD within the first 15 minutes of meeting her via an online test that looked like something she searched for on google. This lady told me my back pain that I have suffered for 5 years is due to childhood traumas even though I had a fall at work. I told her my doctors could not figure out the cause of the pain so she wrote on her report that my back pain is exclusively psychological related. I went to her when I thought about ending my life due to chronic pain. Just had a test done that concluded my discs are the cause of my pain. I cannot believe I paid $250 for that. Extremely unprofessional, and money hungry. First visit I was taken aback by how uncomfortable and unprofessional the visit was. She laughed in my face multiple times and judges. She laughed at me when I brought up how I wanted to try meditation and said I couldn't do that with my mental health. She laughed when I told her my hobbies and how I cope with anxiety. I rarely am compelled to write reviews, but to this day, my experience with Jovel Broqueza infuriates me. I was on a medication for over a year– the only medication I have found in 12 years which has helped alleviate my mental health related symptoms. This doctor told me that she would not continue to proscribe me the medication because it had the potential to affect fertility. I never leave reviews but I feel like I need to warn others that Jovel Broqueza is EXTREMELY incompetent and does not treat her patients with the care and respect that they deserve. I do not recommend anyone who is struggling with mental health concerns to be treated by her because your experience will not only fail to help you, but will be dangerous to your overall well-being and will compromise your health and safety.
