I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Bala Thatigotla and his staff. After MONTHS of suffering from extreme abdominal pain and multiple visits to the ER and another GI specialist—none of whom could determine the cause—I was feeling frustrated and discouraged while continuing to decline further. Dr. Bala performed my hernia repair and partial wrap for reflux, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better surgeon. From the very beginning, he was kind, patient, and thorough. He explained the procedure and recovery in detail, which made me feel completely comfortable and confident going into surgery. After surgery, he was always incredibly responsive. Dr.. Bala Thatigotla was amazing. He saved my life in emergency surgery. I was in the hospital for 6 days and he checked on me daily.
