The night before our arrival, I broke my foot, when I got to the Inn, I dealt with Kyle at the front desk. He could not have been more accommodating with trying to get me a room as close to the exit as possible so I wouldn’t have to do many stairs. He also provided us with an air conditioned room, which we were so grateful for noting my situation in a cast in that heat! Excellent customer service provided by this gentleman. Went to see Billy Talent at the Kee to Bala. Stayed at the Bala bay in which is a 2 min walk.across the street. Beautiful OLD building. Over 100 yrs old. Haunted by a friendly ghost for sure. Food at the bar was delicious. Met some really nice people. Staff is super friendly.
Recently stayed two nights at the Inn so we could attend a concert at The Kee (which is a very short walking distance from the Inn, as well as other amenities close by). Beautiful historic building with minimalist rooms… with that being said there are no a/c units, making it very humid in the rooms.There was a fan provided but could only do so much; made for a hard night to sleep. We booked a night at Bala Bay Inn so we could attend a concert at The Kee across the street. While many would post the negative points about the Inn, I'm choosing to point out the positives! Located right in the heart of the town of Bala, the historical building holds itself as a grand old hotel in cottage country. Walking into the main lobby feels like you've stepped back in time. Great location if you’re going To see a concert at Kee to Bala, Beautiful historical building staff is amazing super friendly and ready to help solve any problems. The only issue I had was not all rooms. Have AC And when we checked in, we didn’t have one, but once I spoke with a staff member, they got us one, problem solved. We ate at the restaurant. Food was Great good portions good value all in all we had a great time and would definitely stay there again..
