First off, customer service was top notch. The very friendly and courteous lady behind the counter asked if it was my first time there (it was) and offered me a first time discount. Definitely a way to win repeat business. The cake itself looks good. The cake looked moist and the frosting look fairly thick and first bite was amazing! I visited Bakes by Drae recently. I had the blueberry pound cake and a chocolate chip cookie. Both were pretty good. I would definitely go back if I am in the area.
My first visit and won't be my last! Got 3 flavors (ranked in order of yumminess): Red velvet cheesecake Cookie butter Pound cake Lemon blueberry pound cake When you get there, you'll be overwhelmed by the variety of options, which all seem delicious. Red velvet cheesecake was my absolute fav. Glad I got the extra slice. I will say that the blueberry lemon was light on the lemon but was still good. Chocolate chips cookies 7 out 10. Solid cookie. I will go back for more and try other flavors. Banana pudding 5 out of 10. I am partial to old school banana pudding made from scratch with plenty of bananas and no box pudding. This isn't that. This pudding isn't bad, but isn't memorable either.
