When I came in, I asked for fresh hot empanadas. He reached in the case and pulled out the cold ones. I assume they were fresh made since I asked for fresh hot ones specifically I get out of the car to take a bite and it’s ice cold so I go back in and I inform him I asked for hot empanadas. He proceeds to go into the back give them to the lady in the back, then microwave it, and then gives me back soft, soggy empanadas. Quality has dropped immensely and Im saddened to leave this review as Ive been eating here for years but today I ate here and as I opened my cheesecake it was covered in mold, and I then go inside to check the display case, several items were covered in it and while service was polite I cannot recommend food from a place where it is not safe to eat, I hope whatever caused this is fixed soon but I wont be coming back again or ordering from them
Had the steak and cheese empanada and the guava and cheese pastry with a café con Leche. Wonderful off the beaten pass experience. Wonderful flavor and authenticity.
Called last minute to order a Vanilla birthday cake(first bakery around who had one if you could believe it!) Staff was extremely helpful, and accomodating, and the cake is to die for!
