Let me start with the good, because there is some good: the staff here are genuinely lovely people. Warm, responsive, and clearly doing their best. When I woke up in the middle of night with a cockroach crawling across my head yes, you read that correctly, on my actual head. The next morning the front desk handled it graciously. Exellent everything!
Honest review from someone who values their money and vacation time. Rooms are dated and show lots of wear/tear. Staff is mostly friendly but can take time to respond. Our room was given to another party before we arrived so we were bumped to an accessible room. Beds are very hard, but surprising sleep well. The rinse area for the sand coming from the beach is about 15ft from the stairs, so you rinse off then walk through sand, so it’s pointless and you track sand into your rooms. I have stayed at this resort 3-4 times over the last few years. Pros: location is great, beach is quite nice. Property is recently renovated. The food and drinks are pretty good (although very pricey). Cons: - Noise/Rooms: you will hear every possible noise in your room and you will not get any sleep. They really should provide ear plugs. All the hallways are open air concrete floors, so you will hear each cart, suit case roller, person walking by, cough and sneeze from the halls. The noise from the hall echoes like crazy. I love this place and the restaurant service was so good! Nesbert was so kind to me and my friends he went the extra mile to make sure we felt comfortable and had everything we needed! He’s the best!!
