Went in to buy some compression and push fit fitting for old copper pipe to join new stuff wanted £25 for each push fit connector where another plumbers merchant wanted £4.56 each one so needless to say to say won’t be going there again had used them quite a few times prior to this.
I was refered to B&S today by a main plumbing merchants in Leicester due to the fact the fittings i required were obsolete. I needed a 20 thread pipe adapter to 15mm pipe. Amad greeted me promptly at the trade counter and after a brief discussion i soon understood he is extremely knowledgeable on all aspects of plumbing dating back decades. I visited B&S last week as no one else stocked what I needed. 2 other large suppliers recommended B&S. I shall be using them all the time now. Not only did they have what I needed, but the advise was excellent too. But the best bit was everything was at a really good price as well. Highly recommend you try this place. Nice people.

After hunting around for a long time I found the toilets I wanted for my new home, which were eventually supplied by Baker & Soars after helpful discussions with them about which model I required and how to instal it. B&S supplied to my builder and stayed with me though some problems until delivery was confirmed. Then, five years later, when I had a problem with the toilets, Baker & Soars stepped up once again and helped me solve it. Excellent service - thank you.
