My boyfriend and I made pork pies with Howard and had an amazing time! He was just as amicable in person as in the show, was easy to follow, and gave great baking tips that we will definitely be using in other recipes. The pork pies were so delicious that we had to freeze some to keep from eating them all. The event was extremely well organized from sign up all the way to the end of the event. What a great opportunity Rosie's croissant class was! Kneading, piping melted chocolate, cooking marmalade and all the butter were firsts for me. Only two suggestions: spell check and proofread the recipe and take the extra step of linking the British time to a site that gives us folks in the U.S. a clue. I logged in at the end thinking "17:00 British Summer Time" would be 2pm for me East Coast when it was actually 12pm. Thanks.
