I had been going to this salon for about six years so it’s really disappointing to have to write this. (Update - never received a singular apology/refund from the salon for my botched haircut, all they did was block me on instagram!) My most recent visits involved both haircut(s) and highlights (3 separate appointments), and the experience ended up being very frustrating. I’ve been visiting Baja Studio for a couple years now and always have an amazing experience! The friendly, professional staff makes me feel comfortable and pampered. Angela, the owner, is an exceptional colorist with a talent for transforming hair. Her attention to detail and overall expertise makes me feel confident that every time I visit her, I know I’m going to leave feeling great. Every stylist is skilled and welcoming, creating a relaxing atmosphere with outstanding service and stunning results. Highly recommend!

I have been going to Malcolm and Jay for years and they are both so talented. Malcom’s double process is beautiful every time. He’s a master colorist. And Jay gives consistently great short haircuts. He listens, and I always walk out of there happy.

I’ve been coming to Malcolm for 10+ years. He is a true artist when it comes to balayage. The way he places and blends color is incredible. He has an amazing eye for tone and placement, and the results always look effortless and beautifully customized. I don’t trust anyone else with my color.
