Worst boating repair shop experience ever!!! Consulted with Baja Marine on a raw water pump failure in August 2023 and did not get my boat returned until late July 2024 (11 Months). I was overcharged for services and the boat was returned with a $26000 invoice and it still wasn't repaired properly, and alarms were still existing I have 40 years’ experience with boats and this shop was good when it catered to private boaters like me and was located in Lomita. Very dishonest and misleading. Owner will estimate short duration, ask for deposits, slip dates, and claim work is being done - after physically checking and seeing no work performed, told him to stop work. He’ll then hold your boat - his yard is full of abandoned and unfinished boats! Our local marinas warn boaters to stay clear of this business….
