We came down to Jacksonville to help our son move into college, and we heard BaJa was one of the best places to eat, so we were excited to try it! When we first walked in, the hostesses were rude and seemed like they didn’t really know what was going on, so honestly we didn’t have high hopes. Our server completely changed our experience though. This is one of my favorite places to eat. It’s a nice, elegant restaurant that’s perfect for families. The food is always delicious, and the drinks are really good too. They have a beautiful bar, and sometimes my family and I come here for dinner, while other times my partner and I like to sit at the bar and enjoy a few drinks. The staff is always friendly, and the atmosphere makes us want to come back. I definitely recommend it!!!
We went to Baja after college graduation. It was good food, great service. The food was hit and had good flavor. It was our first time there. Glad we went! The aquarium was fun for the 3yr old we had with us!
From the outside, it’s next to a dollar general. Inside the ambience is fine. You feel a ‘cheap but authentic’ taste to come. Spacious, and as un gringo the comfort of seeing many people of Latin persuasion working excites the appetite. Food is good, service is good to really good. I should know- I went twice in one day ;) (Pollo Lupitos was great)
