I would highly recommend Miss Pathak. She represented me in a separation that had many twists. She was both very professional and very caring. She is not only brilliant but extremely fair. She was always there for me, never was I left hanging. I feel blessed to have had her represent me in one of the most challenging times of my life. She really went above and beyond. I hired Perla Smith for the first 2 years of my separation/divorce litigation. Perla is kind, intelligent, attentive to detail and very thorough. Unfortunately my ex was disinterested in discussing settlement and bent on a contentious litigation. That being said, I strongly recommend Perla for less contentious cases that can be mediated or settled though discussion, where the parties have at least some common ground or motivation to resolve issues. I had the pleasure of having Ms. Smith handle my case. Ms.Smith was professional, understanding, personable and patient with my never-ending questions. Her guidance and advice were invaluable. During phone conversations Ms.Smith would gently steer me back onto topic (I am prone to wander off on tangents and rants) all the while addressing my concerns and questions.
