Regarding Jake Frederickson's post, one thing is glaringly obvious, and i'm no expert, but how do you make a custom manifold with the china rails too low? if you have the customers heads and the clients block and Bains dummy block have the same deck height it should be right! on that, how are the ports misaligned? couldn't have been trial fitted on the engine, if it did some how, why was it sent out to the customer like that? Had a blower manifold made by Bain, took a year to make we sent our cylinder heads over for it to to be built using our heads. Got the manifold back and here is a list of issues, China rail being to low was the first issue we did notice other fitment issues straight away and contacted Jake, he didn’t want to know about anything until the final deck machining was done which did take abit of time due to parts supply and machining just thought I’d note this as Jake is particularly interested in the time the manifold sat around?... read more
