I went to look an an apartment in Forest Hills that Bahar manages. They were asking for 2 months rent AND a security deposit. NYC made it illegal to ask for more than 3 months worth of rent upfront. They were also charging 50 dollars for credit checks, when legally you're only allowed to charge 20$ max. I told the management that this was against tenants rights and she said "I know but this is how she runs her business." If this is the application I can't imagine what it would be like living there.

Drove over an hour to see an apartment. They cancelled 15 minutes before our scheduled meet time. Will never use again.
