I’m most interested in the quality of the bagel at a bagel store. The recipe has changed since ownership changed. The new version bagels are larger, the insides are softer, the outside not as chewy. If that’s what you like, then I guess the change is good. However for me, the prior owner bagels were much better. These are fine, but not much better than a supermarket bagel. I actually found the mini bagels of higher quality, the right chewiness for a good bagel.
We’re just visiting the area, but loved every thing about Bagel Café. I’m living in Clearwater Florida, and loved their fresh crisp buttered bagel! Location/ also great, parking np, you guys rock!.
Pat Bass is the man. Bagel cafe has the best bagels in the state.
