The ranch was started by a private owner several years ago and was recently purchased in July 2009 by the Oglala Sioux Tribe of the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. Our goal here at the Badlands Ranch and Resort is to help others have a wonderful experience including a family-like environment, friendly service and activities enjoyed by all ages. Excellent Campground! This campground is right outside the Badlands National Park. The campground literally has its own "Badlands" on his private property and you are allowed to walk around wherever you like. Very laid back we got to "pick out" our own site. excellent campground!
