The experience was beyond our expectations. They have such knowledge and passion. Not many places you can experience viewing through multiple telescopes. It's worth staying up past my bedtime!

Took our 6 and 10 year old who had no clue what we were doing there and they loved it. Their favorite part was getting to look through the amazing telescopes and seeing actual galaxies. Entire galaxies! Take your family!
I had been wanting to see this observatory for about 7 years, and I finally got the opportunity! Theresa (the astrophotographer) and Ron (the astronomer) co-presented the night tour, which was partially an indoor presentation of photos from the observatory, an outside look at various objects through various kinds of small to medium telescopes, and a tour of the large telescope under the dome, which was developing a photo of Bodes Galaxy as we spoke.
