Art Erstad opened Badger Oil in 1977 to provide bulk fuel and lubricants to area farmers. In 1985, Art added propane delivery to the area. Not long after adding propane delivery in 1986, Art’s son, Scott took over the propane part of the business. In 1988, Scott purchased Badger Oil.
