Was down to my cabin in Little Narrows 15 mins away from this vet on Wednesday last week - called bc my senior dog Stanley needed to be looked at . Was told to drive back to Halifax to the emergency department. (They couldn’t find time over the next three days to squeeze him in) My neighbors also had the the same experience. The receptionist I spoke to twice that day in hopes to get Stanley in could have cared less about my dog and showed that clearly. This clinic is welcoming, thorough, and professional. Unlike most local clinics, it is owned by the doctors who run it—not by a distant hedge fund. The vet we saw, Dr. MacDonald, answered all my questions, and offered helpful suggestions for the care of my 4YO Labrador Retriever. The fees for Charlie's annual vaccinations were reasonable, and the bill wasn't padded with a bogus $100 fee for an "annual checkup." Highly recommended.
