Dr. Bacu treated my daughter like her symptoms were all in her head & said she should see a neurologist even though she had symptoms & had positive autoimmune tests. Then told us to get a 2nd opinion. Staff was friendly. We wont be going back & we are getting a 2nd opinion. It’s really hard when you see loved ones feeling sick & not like themselves & hear a dr dismiss her feelings/symptoms. Save yourself time & go somewhere else.

Dr. BACU has a bad bedside manner and doesn't seem to care. She just wants to order tests and medication. I wanted to know why I was in such pain and all she does is bloodwork and try to prescribe me meds for pain...I don't want meds I wanna know what's wrong... she never helped me. She told me if I didn't take her meds that their was nothing more she could do for me. I said fine I won't be back.

I started going to see rheumatology after I went to an orthopedic doctor for a knee replacement. When he took my x ray, he saw nodules growing out of my joints. He insisted that I go to a rheumatologist since there was quite obviously something happening that he only generally sees in patients in their 80s and above. I had my first appointment with Dr Geri Bacu on December 1st 2022. Having struggled with pain for many years, I was recently told that my next surgery on my left shoulder would be replacement due to arthritis. Dr Bacu ordered many tests and xrays. I feel so at ease and hopeful with her on my side
