I was stranded in Fernie during a cross-country road trip and Backyard saved me. Aaron was very kind, and good at explaining how he approached troubleshooting the issue. It took a little trial and error, but he did successfully track down the faulty part. Since then, I've been able to keep the road trip going for probably 1000+ kilometers.

Thankful. Called day-before from our campsite with an electrical issue on our '98 van: the engine was occasionally cutting out while driving, yet could be restarted immediately. Came in the next morning on our way home. They were honest and straightforward about the timeline and potential issue and did an on-the-spot scan of our vehicle. This did not reveal anything. Got a pre trip service and rear brake callipers, rotors and pads replaced, reasonably quickly and priced…. Later found out they put the wrong pins in the callipers - which could have lead to serious consequences for us, on a road trip to Alaska… with faulty brakes!! They didn’t pick up the phone or return voicemails - (we were already on route so couldn’t make it back to them after it got seriously dangerous to drive, as the callipers were walking) Pretty disappointing after a few friends had recommended Backyard.
