My husband and I rented a canoe and had a fabulous experience. Brian is very responsive, polite, informative and easy to work with. The creek itself is teeming with life! Alligators (who mind their own business), birds, frogs and fish. The cypress trees (reminds me of mangroves) are magical. Highly recommend!!

Kayaking here was honestly one of the best experiences of the whole trip. The water was super calm, no waves, just smooth paddling the whole time. It felt like being inside a quiet green tunnel with trees and reflections everywhere. Very peaceful but also a little mysterious in a cool way. What I loved most was that it didn’t feel crowded or touristy at all. Just nature, silence, and occasionally seeing wildlife around you. Cohen was a fabulous guide. Friendly, aimed to personalize the trip, and very knowledgeable. Brian was great and so easy to schedule with...can't say enough about this staff. The creek was amazing. NO BUGS! Pictures don't do it justice. Highly recommend Backwater Expeditions.
