The maintenece team is wreck full of pretentious women (watch out for Amy) who whine about everything and crash out if you go any even slightly faster than her interpretation of crawling speed with your vehicle. and all of the buildings are understaffed and under funded / maintained. Sites are over priced, I recommend not visiting here.
Bakus Heritage Conservation Area is such a peaceful place to walk and enjoy nature. The trails are clean and easy to follow, and the scenery is beautiful, especially on a nice day. It’s quiet, relaxing, and a great spot to unwind or take photos. Definitely worth a visit!
Had a chance to check out the decoy museum which was a great find. Also beautiful views throughout - the kids enjoyed fishing.
A must visit...especially the 1812 reenactment and encampment.
I am a seasonal camper there. It is very peaceful and lots of trails to trek through nature. They also do a great reenactment of the battle of 1812.
