I saw Hona for prenatal care when my baby was breech at 37-38 weeks. She was so caring and compassionate during a very stressful and emotional time.
I would give Dr. Backstrom 10 stars if I could!! She is a superb practitioner and healer. Hona blends deep knowledge and skills with empathy and intuition to zero in on exactly what is needed each and every visit. I’ve been a patient since the early days of her practice. She has helped me tremendously with multiple issues that my medical doctors were not able to adequately resolve. Hona truly ministers to the whole person. Hona is intuitive, gentle, and professional. Her bedside manner and skills always leave me feeling restored after each session. I was so excited to learn that she offers acupuncture at the birthing center as I cannot think of a better practitioner to be at my side throughout pregnancy and during labor!
Hona is so personable and makes it such an experience! I will definitely be coming back!
Cannot recommend Hona enough. As a first time acupuncture client I was so nervous, but Hona made me feel so at ease and so listened to and I’ve been a client ever since. She is so gentle and kind, definitely trauma-informed, and such an amazing part of the health care community. Her care is worth every penny.
