Great prices, wide range of gear and incredibly helpful staff. I purchased a tent that unfortunately had manufacturer issues, but Marcus from the Backpacking Light team was incredibly helpful in getting it back to the manufacturer, fixed and then back to me in a short period of time ahead of a big trip. Also helpful communication and updates during the process. Highly recommend for great service.

Looking for travel gear? best place to start. Recently purchased travel luggage and other gear and got fantastic advice. Very helpful staff - sorry I can't remember your names (!!). The shop was filled with customers aged from their 20s and 50s plus, going on European holidays and hard core hiking. The staff have a good knowledge of the benefits and prices of different brands, which had different male/female versions and the differences, as well as understanding the best product for me. Very helpful staff and great selection of hiking gear. I found it best to go after checking things out online just so I had a general idea on what I wanted. This was particularly helpful making a choice between lightweight and price.
