Excellent service. Cars are thoroughly checked and even though I encountered a mechanical issue they were kind enough to fix it before I had to set off from Sydney.
From our experience, I would not recommend this company. You’re better off buying a vehicle from a backpacker for 50% of the price. You are sold this amazing package of a fully serviced, mechanically checked vehicle. When we received our vehicle in November 2024 (later than we were told) its last service was 8,000km earlier and then 2 weeks into our road trip we discovered $1500 worth of damage to the suspension. I had a great experience with Backpacker Cars Sydney! The employees are friendly, helpful, and honest throughout the whole process from when I bought the car all the way until I sold it 9 months later. Even though the prices may seem higher than other places (Facebook Marketplace, Gumtree, etc.), it’s important to remember that you’re paying for convenience.
