I went Back Yard Burgers on 4/26t 4:30 with my husband..I have not been to Back Yard Burger since I lived in Nashville 5 years ago and boy have I been missing out!!!! Backyard blunder . I ordered a bacon cheeseburger. It came with no bacon. I returned it. They made me a new one. This time no bacon. I returned it. The "blonde haired middle aged female manager" that other reviews refer to, who's name is Sherry, told me that I didn't order bacon so I'm not getting any. I check my receipt. It was rung up wrong. No problem I'll pay extra for the bacon. No she says "you'll get what you ordered". I told her she had the worst customer service skills I've ever seen. They kept my food and my money.... read more
not what it used 2b... – *They used to grind and pattie the meat fresh daily when it first opened back in mid 93', not long after the owner's wife sherry finally worked off all the original employee's who were worth a damn except for 1 that doesnt touch food cooking back in mid 94' , shortly after....that stopped. Service Was Terrible – I stopped in at this Back Yard location. I was the only person in the restaurant, but still had to wait for my order to be taken. I was waited on by the manager, who was the rudest person working there. After I had paid, I went to the self-service drink area and they had no tea, so I had to go back to the counter. Need some new opinions – I can't believe how many old reviews are below. Angus burgers used to be distinguishing, but now even McDonalds has a "better burger", which is better than the Backyard standard fare. Seasoned fries are pretty good, but I'm ready for Five Guys to get down here!!!
Fast food that is actually fast AND food! – Black and blue burger.... near perfection for fast food. Shakes aren't bad either and the seasoned fries rock. If you are craving a burger and need it fast, there isn't a better option. The little tiny teeny weensy thing that could possibly be improved is if they had non-frozen fresh ground beef options so I could get mine rare. Other than that minutely small blip of desire... fast food perfection on a bun.

I can't believe that this place is still open! – My first experience with Backyard Burgers was a few years ago in Mississippi, I was impressed and remember saying "I wish we had one of these back home". The place was always busy and the food was way ahead of the other burger joints. Well, we have one back home now, and to tell you the truth I wish we didn't. Who's backyard are these cooked in? – I had the unpleasant experience of eating at Backyard Burgers near the airport. The burger was cold, all the ice tea was gone from the dispensers and when another customer mentioned it, no one cared.The burger was mealy, yucky and I will never go to another Backyard Burger.On a positive note, the fries were good and the service was also good.
