If you could go enjoy a massage and lessen/eliminate pain AND learn how to take care of yourself and know they are there for you when you need them, wouldn't you definitely do that? Jaime is the best massage therapist I have ever been to and they keep learning new techniques that can only benefit you as a client. You should have nothing standing in your way of trying Jaime at least once to know how much relief and relaxation you can have. Jaime will talk to you and assess exactly what needs to be the focus.
I went to Jaime because I had been having pain and stiffness and popping in my jaw for almost two weeks solid. I hadn't gone to Jaime before for TMJ/masseter/pterygoid work before, but have been bunches of times before for neck/back/shoulder work (p.s. Magic! If you haven't been yet, you are missing out.) Jaime made me a believer in massage for both self-care and health maintenance. They have been there to help me to relax when I needed and when I had agonizing muscle cramping.
