We loved our mushroom kit! This was such a great experience for the kids. The mushrooms grew so quickly - it was so much fun to see how much they changed just from morning to night each day!
It’s a great idea, but after only 2 months, we’re already having problems with our fish tank. We bought it on amazon on 2/15/20 and today we noticed that our pump is failing. This may explain why our last crop didn’t work out to well, since it wasn’t pumping all of the water to the water tray. Our coupon for a Beta fish was also expired when we received the tank, but our email was never returned.
The Mushroom Grow Kit was so fun! My dad was a mushroom expert and we used to find mushrooms in the forests in our area, but I had never used a mushroom farm. It was impressive how quickly the 'shrooms grew. Towards the end of the growth cycle, I had to keep dusting around the place I had the mushroom box. I thought I was a lousy housekeeper and then realized the dust was really spores falling. Cool. I am currently trying to use them to start another growth cycle. Wish me luck!!😁

Thank you Back to the Roots for these amazing grow kits! My twins are in first grade and we used these kits as an at home science experiment with our current distant learning situation. The twins and my 4 yr old are loving watching there kits grow. We currently have oyster mushrooms, 3 different kinds of micro greens and the mason jar tomato kit growing. I will definitely be getting these again!
