This is one of my favorite pizza places...easily in my top three—and I would normally give it five stars. Unfortunately, today’s experience was three stars. I ordered the “Staff Favorite” for the first time, and the basil was completely charred, giving it an overpowering, unpleasant burnt flavor. I tried one slice to see how it tasted. Excellent tomato pie! Crisp crust, delicious sauce and garlic. BDP knows how to get it right. It was our first time ordering pizza from BDP and we would order from them again. Chic pea fries are also delicious. They do take out only.
Great pizza but highly recommend you pass on the salads. You can literally make your own salad four times as big for 1/4 of the price that they offer for their rabbit sized salad.
Visiting family in Cherry Hill and have been wanting to try this place since we don’t have good, well-done pizza in the Philly suburbs. Pizza flavors are very good. The pizza was good, but not crispy on the bottom once we got it home, but reheating it for the next three days for lunch made it amazing. It reheats so well in the toaster oven. We will definitely grab pizza whenever we are in the area.
Love back door pizza. Definitely worth a shot.
