I have been patronizing this shop for at least 15 years. I used to love it and Monk the previous owner. The new ownership has been a terrible experience in all aspects. They are condescending and downright rude. As a long time member of this community, I am so disappointed to see such a tyrant operating one of the small local business that once contributed to Carbondale's charm. Went by today to drop off a bag of consignment items, and was treated so poorly, that I decided not to leave my items.
Resale? You're Kidding Me! Not at all what you'd expect from a typical Consignment shop...except maybe the very reasonable prices. The shop is very attractive, the items are in great condition, and are beautifully displayed -- enticing the shopper to consider purchasing not only the clothing, but the jewelry, shoes and accessories to match!
