Nice Buffet This is my mother's and step-daughter's favorite place. It's a great mix of Mediterranean and American cuisine with plenty for both vegetarians as well as the rest of the gang. The price is very reasonable and the atmosphere is nice. My only word of caution is that the tables are all 2 or 4 tops and it gets a bit crowded of you're bringing a larger group.
great little buffet This is a local favorite for the lunch crowd. It is usually full, but not too busy. You can get a great deal, available everyday, of $4 for all you can fit in a take-out container. They have a wide selection of warm foods and salads. Great deal for lunch!
The 'Taste of Europe' in West Berkeley When this place first appeared on the scene, I was skeptical that it would find its market. Now, years later, Bacheeso never fails to generate a crowd for its weekend brunch buffet. Weekday lunchtime diners are treated to the ample buffet or a selection of freshly made sandwiches from their menu. Sometimes food can be a bit on the oily side, but that's not always a negative. Try their signature chicken basil sandwich.
