My husband and I are visiting Marquette for a week on our honeymoon, and we popped into BabyCakes this afternoon for a couple of treats after a day spent exploring the beautiful beaches and recreational areas. We were beyond impressed with not only the presentation of the menu items, the friendliness of the ladies working, the atmosphere of the shop, but oh my goodness y’all....the treats we got were so out of this world delicious. I loved coming here when I visited MQT, but I no longer will be patronizing this business. I cannot support a place owned by someone who made inflammatory, racist remarks, and then doubled down on them when called out. If you think racism sucks, as you should, you’ll stay far far away from this one.
