I stayed at The Dominick, a five-star modern luxury hotel in SoHo, and visited its Sisley Spa, the French brand known for plant-based luxury skincare. I booked a 10:00 AM weekday massage ($189, about $250 with tax/tip). My assigned therapist never showed up, and not until 10:13 AM did another therapist pick me up. She admitted she had only been notified at 10:03 AM, looked stressed, and even expressed some frustration. Came here for my birthday weekend, and I had such a wonderful time. The staff were all so warm and welcoming. All of the different amenities were excellent and the staff made sure they were all ready for me to use. It felt so hyper personalized. And the massage was fantastic.
