no hair dryer, but a lady working at the hetel lend one to me. I stayed at RN 4. There is a pub just under the room. So noisy. We met nice friendly person.
Dined here in the restaurant with 6 other couples a few nights ago. The food was very very good. Tasty, well cooked and lots to choose from a comprehensive menu. The staff were friendly and efficient. Our group was very happy until information was shared about the wine corkage. One couple had bought a $14 bottle of wine from the bottle shop and had been charged $14 corkage. Another couple had bought a $12.50 bottle and had been charged $28 corkage. Not allowed to have a drink on the deck with our old dog in a pram, yet the deck consisted of smokers, I would question what is more offensive. Was not going to tie the dog up on the outside of pub grounds as suggested. Hence we found the opposition - the Taverna which was such a great find.0
This is an excellent example of a great country pub. Sophia was working behind the bar, and one of the owners, Kitty came in for a most amusing chat. Top Pub.
More people need to get behind the bistro within this pub, the food there is my favourite in town. I especially recommend the Shanks.
