The Babinda hospital has long been a nursing home that is very limited in what services can be supplied and extremely short on staff. They refuse to deliver baby's and if your local and the innisfail hospital isn't much better. It's concerning that 2 hospitals cannot and will not provide a service that they are supposed to be able to deliver.
I've been very unwell and I went to the hospital at Babinda and was treated with the most amazing care. Thank you to the nurses you treated me and Doctor Paul. Would recommend this hospital to everyone.
Staff are friendly, meals are tasty and home cooked, and the facility is clean and tidy.
